LUCK AND LOLLIPOPS - 4th AUG, CUSTARD FACTORY
“A showcase of Birmingham
's new generation of contemporary creatives” Birmingham is changing,
culturally evolving from within, no longer the
grey mechanised industrial
heart of the midlands but a new, fresher, street savvy Metropolis.
This metamorphosis is providing fertile ground for a new wave of confident,
successful visual pioneers.
Through the Creative Alliance's After Hours
Program, a group of these international freelance subversives have
joined forces to show the rest of the UK what Birmingham is made of,
bringing their eclectic styles and influences together for a week of
exciting and inspiring exhibitions, dispelling some of the myths of
our tired old city along the way.
Currentstate -
(AKA Jane Anderson) presents a fusion of her illustrative,
photography & graphics work, that's influenced by youth culture,
travelling & Birmingham life.
